Greetings Region 1 Alumni,

My name is Naphysah Duncan and I am pleased to have the honor of serving you as your Region 1 Alumni Extension Secretary for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  In keeping with the National Directives, NSBE’s mission and my position as your Communication Zone leader, I plan to:

 

• Assist you in the Cultivation of Leadership skills through disseminating information on leadership training opportunities that will be offered to you as Region 1 Alumni members during the year. 
  
  
• Assist you to Excel Academically and professionally by informing you of the graduate student and technical professional programs available to you through your membership in NSBE.   
• 
  
• Ensure that you receive communiques on the existing programs and those being rolled out to Expand the Pipeline and thus ensure the future of our community and our nation by producing more black engineers.
  
  
• Keep you abreast of NSBE and NSBE-AE business and events in order to Mobilize our Membership towards community action and effecting a positive impact on our community.
