Welcome From your Chair

Dear Alumni Extension Member,

NaphysahGreetings!! My name is Naphysah Duncan and I am honored to have been elected as your 2008 – 2009 Region 1 Alumni Extension Chair. During my membership in NSBE, I have served on the chapter level as President , Secretary, and Membership Chair. On the Region 1 AE Board, I have had the privilege to serve you as your Parliamentarian and Secretary, and currently as Chair. I believe that my over 10 years of experience in NSBE will help me, with the assistance of your 2008-2009 board to serve your interests and be able to provide you with the type of value that you expect as a member of NSBE-AE. This year, we want NSBE Alumni Extension to be the R O.P E that will help us pull together to fulfill the NSBE mission which we have committed to with the following goals:

Recruit, Retain & Re-inspire

Inspire you and all other potential AE members to renew or activate their NSBE-AE membership because of the inherent value

One Luv

Alumni, Collegiate, PCI; we are ONE and we must understand that the only way we can move mountains is to act in unison

Programming, Programming, Programming

Provide programming that will positively impact our ability to succeed professionally and in those other necessary aspects of life

Each one, Teach one

Fulfill the NSBE mission by assisting in educating one another; be that rock for others to stand on so that we can all reach the heavens

These are not lofty goals. They can be achieved, but we also need your input as we are here to serve you. Therefore, please feel free to send me an email or give me a call so that we can effectively provide the content and value that you need to stay true to the NSBE mission of increasing the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

Peace, Blessings & NSBE LUV,

Naphysah Duncan
